I want my wedding photos taken @ Quicken Loans area – right on the court. Does anyone know Where to start or who I ask about this? I’d love to play some 1-on-1 vs Delonte West, and LeBron James in my wedding dress, but am not rich enough to make that happen! Just to be on the court, playing some b-ball with my bridal party would be fantastic! Do you know how I would start researching this? I’m completely lost! Thanks!
Call the arena!

by anyone onto any computer or device, transferred, shared, or printed thereof?
On Flickr, you can do the following to prevent downloads:
1. Click on "Your Account" near the bottom of the page – any page.
2. Click on the "Privacy and Permissions" tab.
3. After "Who can download your stuff," click on "edit."
4. Select "Only you" and "Save."
Now, if someone tried to download your images, they can’t do it. If they try a right click, they will only get a "spaceball" or blank page. If they try a screen capture, they can still do that, but they will only get a small, low resolution image that will not be of much value. If you are still concerned about that, go ahead and find out about watermarking your work. You can add text across the image at something like 20% opacity and it will work fine.

I know this is a tech question, but the people most likely to know the answer are in this section.
Alrighty. For a nearly two week trip during which I’ll be taking many digital photos in RAW format (which = lots of space), will a portable photo storage device be sufficient?
I think in your position I would buy more cards (hit Costco) rather than drag a drive or laptop with me. Before leaving, lable the cards 1 through whatever and keep the exposed cards in a watertight box away from the unused cards. If you already have a portable drive or a laptop, you could consider taking them along, but I would be uncomfortable subjecting this kind of gear to the rigours of travel. If you feel this is ok, then go for it. Also, if you download then erase the card and anything happens to that drive, you could be screwed. Back up anything you download. Me, I’d risk 1 card before all of the pix. Test anything you buy before you go.
Have a blast! And good shooting!

I’m shooting Jesus Christ Superstar tonight, and was seeing if anyone had any tips for me. Also, my 70-300mm lens died a couple days ago so all i have to work with is my 18-70mm. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
If this is an actual show and you are shooting from the audience then my advise would be don’t. You will annoy the rest of the audience and probably get kicked out.
If you are shooting from the offstage area during the performance then you will need a fast lens of 200mm minimum to get individuals or a fast wide angle to get the whole stage area in.
If you are shooting a dress rehearsal and have freedom of movement around the theatre then same as above applies although you may be able to use minimal flash if you are the "official" photographer.

I’m a photographer that is becoming more and more interested in combining photography and graphic design. Photoshop seems too complicated. I’d like to find something that is intuitive and can also be used to create original works.
Thank you.
I’m sorry that PhotoShop is seeming too complicated for you, b/c it is a REALLY cool program, once you get the hang of it. There is so much that you can do w/ it. I thought I would never get the hang of it, but I did -w/ a lot of patience and practice, and it was so worth it to learn it. Since then, I’ve become very spoiled to it, b/c I have yet to find anything that even comes close to the features it has to offer.
The Corel programs are pretty cool, and they don’t seem nearly as complicated as PhotoShop.
Maybe you could try some free trial downloads from download.com, and see which digital photo editing software you are most comfortable w/ before buying it. -That’s just what I would do, personally.
I’m also not trying to imply anything, but the "Dummies" books and the "Idiot’s Guide to…" books are great for learning new skills fast, and I believe there is a "PhotoShop for Dummies" -if you ever decide to give PhotoShop a go. Either way, I hope you do well w/ whatever software you decide is right for you.

order prints of them, and I need a site that will allow me that much storage space, and offers good quality prints that won’t break the bank, because that’s a ton of pictures to order.
Thanks : )
photobucket no doubt

I have unlimited texting. I’m wondering if sending pictures to my online verizon photo album cost anything extra or if it’s an extra service charge.
I’ve had Verizon since 2001. You’ll be charged data rates, since you have to get online to do it. $1.99/mb. I don’t think it’s worth it.

Thank you everyone! You all have given me a sure point of what i need to work on, lighting is a big one. I’m only 14 and i plan to always be a photographer, i will always be trying to improve! again.. thank you all!
Work on exposure and color balance. You have quite a few blown highlights here and there. The wedding people on the first page are all blue, which can be fixed in post processing, or set your WB at time of capture. I suspect it was set on tungsten, which would account for the blue tones prevailing. Also it is considerate to rotate your images to viewing orientation.
I liked the barn on the first page, although I am not a fan of the sepia conversion. If you can visit again and try different compositions.
Here is my favorite link for new photographers:

Continue to learn and practice. Best wishes and happy shooting!
